When contacting the first two on a list of roofing companies my insurance adjuster sent me, I was told they had absolutely no idea when they could even come take a look at my house, which I completely understood and appreciated; however, being offered spots at the end of their incredibly long lists, I declined. Since my insurance company told me I could hire any roofing company I saw fit, as well as gave authorization to have my roof temporarily tarped to avoid more damage until an adjuster could get to me, I remembered one of my bosses offered to send me Miller Roofing’s number as they are her go-to guys for her roof and I see why. I called Michael and when I told him my situation, he asked if it would be ok to come out the next day to assess damage and temporarily fix the roof. The next day seemed unheard of having been offered a spot just for a call back only to get on another wait list five minutes before calling Mike. He was not only professional but extremely courteous. He came the next day and assessed damage, tarped the multiple holes in my roof, and answered an absurd amount of questions I had - surely more than he was planning on having to answer! He told me he would send an invoice for the work done and instructed me to forward to my insurance. Shortly thereafter, my insurance approved a full roof replacement! The whole  process has been absolutely seamless. The insurance company provided me with their estimate as did Mike. Worried I was going to have to go back and forth with my insurance company for one reason or another (due to the many homeowner’s insurance horror stories I’ve heard), my insurance not only approved Miller’s estimate but Mike himself pretty much served as a liaison between my adjuster and me. And due to the fact I wanted upgraded shingles but knew insurance would not pay for that, Mike worked with me in terms of paying my balance. After the insurance approval, Mike and his crew were able to come replace my roof the very next week. The materials were delivered to my house the day before the work was scheduled which demonstrates preparedness. The day of the replacement, the crew got here on time, worked non-stop (in a very non-disruptive manner I may add as I was working from home), finished the roof mid-afternoon, and cleaned every inch of my driveway/carport to ensure nails and debris were nowhere to be found. Lastly, and most importantly in my personal opinion, the reason I highly recommend this company is the impeccable communication that I experienced. At times when I needed to contact Mike regarding scheduling, insurance payments, etc., he would respond quickly and answer any questions or concerns I had. This long-winded review cannot come close to reflecting my appreciation for Miller Roofing turning my stressful situation into a walk in the park! On top of that, it was handled quickly, professionally, and flawlessly. I guess I should mention - my roof looks fantastic!! read less
